This series of images was produced by a Somatom Definition and shows different three-dimensional image-phases of a patient. The Computed Tomography has worked through the different slices: First of all, skin, and in part clothing, can be seen (picture on the left). Deeper in the body, the next image (middle left) shows the muscles and some bones. The skeleton, afferent arteries, heart, kidneys and bleb can be seen on a further image (midway right). The last image (right) shows the afferent arteries as wee as the heart, kidneys and bleb, but not the skeleton.
