Siemens Mobility presents the new high-speed train Velaro RUS at the InnoTrans 2008 in Berlin. In may 2006 the russian railway company RZD ordered eight high-speed trains type Velaro from Siemens. The rains will run on the Moscow – Saint Petersburg line with an operating speed of 250 km/h. Within the Innotrans 2008 three cars of the first train will be presented to the public. The delivery of the whole first train is scheduled for the coming November. The picture shows the first high-speed train Velaro RUS at the loading in the Siemens factory in Krefeld-Uerdingen.
