High-tech medicine now also available for pets

Magnetic resonance is often used where X-rays and ultrasound are no great help. Now even pets can be examined in the cylinder of a magnetic resonance tomograph. To show details of the insides of the animal patients, Siemens developed special processes with miniature coils suitable for animals. The appliances used mainly for humans can now also be used for small animals. Veterinarians can now diagnose more accurately and treat specifically.
