At its first attempt, the new blueTherm dryer captured 60% of the market for Class A condenser dryers. This is confirmed by a study carried out by the market research company GfK in Nuremberg, Germany. blueTherm is the first Siemens product in the condenser dryer market segment over € 900. To date, 100,000 appliances have already been sold. The reason for this is simple: The dryer is the energy-saving world champion! It has a unique automatic lint cleaner and new heat pump technology. The dryer uses 40% less energy than the permitted limit for a European Class A appliance, consumes only half as much electricity as conventional Class B appliances and even beats its direct competition: It requires up to 20% less energy than other heat pump dryers. All this makes blueTherm the most energy-saving condenser dryer in the world – saving the user an average of 50 euro cents per load.
